If you’re in Ibiza and you didn’t see Carl Cox, were you even in Ibiza? Well, to answer quickly and correctly, yes. Unfortunately, Coxy’s appearances on the island aren’t quite as regular as they used to be, but, if he is playing when you’re there, and you choose not to go and see him play, you’re probably doing it wrong.
The latest date on the main man’s island schedule sees him make his second appearance of the season for Resistance in Privilege tonight. Sharing the headline slot with Joseph Capriati, for what is surely set to be one of the best back to back sets of the season, Cox spearheads Resistance’s fifth week. That’s right, despite having had almost every DJ in the world on their lineups already, Resistance are somehow only in the fifth week of their season, is that crazy or what.
So, you’re probably wondering how do you improve a lineup that’s got Carl Cox and Joseph Capriati going back to back on it. Simple, you add Richie Hawtin, Nicole Moudaber and Charlotte de Witte. If you’re a techno fan, you definitely do not want to miss this one.
Oh, did we mention that everyone we just told you about are all playing in the Main Room? Well, they are, and you’ll be happy to hear that the Terrace’s lineup is equally as impressive. You’ll be able to catch Terrace residents Hot Since 82 and Eats Everything, and, if that’s not enough, they’ll also be joined by Andres Campo and the one and only Erick Morillo. Holy crap, that lineup is officially sicker than a group of eighteen year olds the morning after their first night on the West End.
This event is going to be seriously busy so if you’d like to go, you better get your hands on some tickets sooner rather than later. Luckily for you, we’re here to help and you can pick yours up here now.
