Here at Ibiza Club News, we think it’s fair to say, that as far as first seasons go, Octan has done pretty damn good this summer. At the beginning of the season, we didn’t have a clue what was happening with the venue so to come in so late in the day and manage to pull off what they have in such a short space of time is pretty impressive.
From the ever-popular Warriors party to the ultra-cool Planet Claire, they’ve laid some very impressive foundations this summer that are sure to be built on in style next season and we expect the future will once again be looking pretty bright for the Playa d’en Bossa club. So, a tip of the hat to our friends over at Octan for what they’ve achieved so far this summer.
They’ve also just announced two exclusive Saturday parties taking place later this month, 21 & 28 September, so it’s great to see they’re still grafting to make things happen, even at this late stage of the season.
Sub.Culture will be Octan’s very first Saturday night party and will be a homage to the vintage sounds of Chicago, Detroit and London. First up, on 21 September, you’ll be able to catch sets from Octan residents Ryan O’Gorman, Kellie Allen and Lindsay Matthews, who’ll be joined on the night by Clive Henry, Alex Arnout, Dave Hang, Jordan Masters, Incus and Santana & Friends.
We’re really happy to see Octan starting to fire on all cylinders and we think it would be great to have another option for clubbers in Bossa, especially with the kind of underground vibe you get in the venue. Here’s hoping for bigger and better things next summer. If you’d like to check out Sub.Culture next Saturday, you can get your tickets here now.
