Resistance Opening To Breathe New Life Into Privilege

There’s no doubt about it, Privilege, as a club, is a massively underutilized asset in the grand scheme of clubbing in Ibiza. It’s a sleeping giant, waiting to spring into life and become the island’s beacon for huge parties once more.

The Vista Club alone, where the likes of Solid Grooves and Manycome call home, is a club room big enough to host many of the island’s parties and is simply Privilege’s side room, the true scale of the club has to be seen to be believed and, unfortunately, more often than not in recent years, it has stayed behind closed doors, going unnoticed for many people who are new to the island’s biggest club.

This unfortunate trend could, however, be set to come to an end very soon as the sleeping giant stirs and is set to wake up with the arrival of Resistance this Tuesday, 23 July.

Here at Ibiza Club News Towers, we’re struggling to remember a sequence of lineups that we’ve been as excited about, as we are for what Resistance is bringing to Ibiza for the next nine weeks. This is, simply put, the biggest run of club shows that has happened in Ibiza for years, or possibly ever.

And it all kicks off with their opening party this Tuesday, you can get tickets here, with a lineup that is worthy of any club, festival mainstage or any kind of event you can imagine. The Main room will see performances from Patrice Baumel, dance music royalty Sasha and John Digweed, a yet to be announced special guest and a mindblowing back to back performance from Adam Beyer and Maceo Plex.

If that’s not enough for you, you can make your way to the terrace where you can catch sets from Marco Bailey, Layo & Bushwacka, Eats Everything, Charlotte de Witte and Hot Since 82. Every single artist on the lineup is a headliner, making this one party you really can’t afford to miss.

Starting things off as they mean to go on, Resistance won’t take their foot off the gas for the entire nine weeks, with every single party curated to the highest order right up to their closing on Tuesday 17 September. Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber, Richie Hawtin, Testpilot, Kolsche and Nastia are just some of the artists you will be able to catch playing at Resistance over the course of the next nine weeks.

If you are planning on attending any of these events, and you really should be, we highly recommend you get your tickets now to avoid disappointment later. You can get your hands on yours here now.
