Earlier this summer, we brought you news of a brand new club opening in the former Sankeys venue in Playa d’en Bossa. Shortly after that, we told you they had announced their first residency with Steve Lawler’s Warriors.
Well, today, we can tell you that Octan has cranked up their game to previously unseen levels by announcing a second residency, kicking off on Sunday 28 July, the same night as Warriors, in the shape of Apollonia’s Planet Claire parties and running for ten exclusive dates throughout the summer.
Apollonia are, without a doubt, the hottest trio in dance music at the moment, with the Frenchmen having previously played as headliners at a number of the island’s top venues, including a successful stint with Unusual Suspects in the same venue in previous summers.
Taking over the club’s Lab, Planet Claire will share the lineup with Warriors, on no less than four occasions, every Sunday between 28 July – 18 August, before making Sundays in Octan their own, with their carefully curated lineups showcasing the very best of house music.
Details of Planet Claire’s lineups are very limited, apart from the fact they’ll be sharing the bill with Warriors for their first four parties, but we do know that the schedule will include three all not long sets from Apollonia, which, anyone who has ever seen the trio perform before will agree, will be nothing short of epic.
You can also be sure selectors as fine as Apollonia will pull out all the stops to ensure the rest of their parties will be equally as mesmerizing so you can expect guests of the very highest caliber to be joining them on a weekly basis.
We’re really excited to see what Octan has in store for us this season and we’re expecting some busy nights in the Playa d’en Bossa venue so we would advise anyone wishing to attend any of the events to buy their tickets early to avoid disappointment. You can pick yours up here now.
