Following another successful season at Amnesia, now Väth’s 17th consecutive year on the island, the German techno pioneer is going to release a compilation album filled with the summer seasons top tracks, something he has done for each of his 17 years to date.

The album will be released on Väth’s Cocoon label, the same brand that has been consistently been banging the roof off Amnesia since the end of last century. This years Cocoon played host to legendary names such as Dixon, Mano le Tough, Roman Flügel, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Adam Beyer, Nina Kraviz and Solomun. While there were also a number of class live performances from the likes of Âme, KiNK and Henrik Schwarz. Here’s a clip of the man himself earlier in the summer. 

The album is 26 tracks of pure gold over 2 discs, some of Ibiza Club News’ favorites include OFF feat. Sven Väth – Electrica Salsa (Roman Flügel Remix), Redshape – Tel Aviv and two Kölsch remixes, Trouble At The Seance by Damian Lazarus and Robot by Sven himself.
