With Glitterbox announcing that their residency in Hï Ibiza was changing from Friday to Sunday nights in 2019, it always seemed likely that an announcement would follow from Defected about their residency in Eden. There was no way they were ever going to be competing with their sister clubnight so it was more a case of when rather than if they would release details of a change of night.

In the end, it only took a couple of days and we can now reveal that Defected will be switching to Friday nights in Eden for the 2019 season. That’s right, every Friday between 17 May and 27 September you’ll be able to party with some of house music’s biggest DJs in the San Antonio superclub.

So far, Defected haven’t released any details of next season’s lineups but looking back at last year, where we had DJs like Sam Divine, Claptone, Riva Star and Simon Dunmore regularly taking control of the decks, we’re expecting Defected to bring the heat and go even bigger next season. So, it’s fair to say that we can expect some top quality parties in Eden every Friday throughout the 2019 season.

As if all of this wasn’t exciting enough, both Defected and Glitterbox have made tickets available for all of their parties in 2019 for the super-low-low price of €20. That’s pretty much unheard of in Ibiza and we’re expecting all of these nights to be complete sell outs as a result. We love what the team at Defected are doing, they truly are the people’s parties. Long may it continue.
