Fancy getting proper loose in Ibiza this year but don’t want to blow all of your holidays at once? 2017 has the answer.

Thanks to a perfect alignment of bank holidays you can actually get 18 days off work in a row for just nine days holiday – it’s as if you were meant to be in Ibiza next April.

To take advantage of this you need to book a holiday from April 18 to 28 and then the rest of the time off will just tag on automatically.

It works because:

Good Friday falls on April 14 and Easter Monday on April 17.

May Bank Holiday falls on May 1.

So provided you get an automatic day off on those days your last day at work will be April 13 and you will return on May 2.

Breaking it down, the 18 days will consist of three bank holidays, six weekend days and nine in the working week.

The only catch? The season doesn’t really kick off until the middle of May! SORRY!

But, Ibiza is still Ibiza. Some of the sunset strip bars will be open, like Mint and Cafe Del Mar. Pacha will be open, Sankeys opens on the 1st of May. Hardrock will be running on certain nights, as will some of the beach bars… and did we mention it’s still fucking Ibiza? And you only need 9 days for an 18 day holiday?
