Dance Music’s Biggest Conference Turns 10 in Ibiza This Year

Ten years on from the inaugural International Music Summit, the flagship electronic music conference celebrates another year of educating, inspiring and shaping the future of electronic music the world over. The three day conference consists of dance music professionals engaging in panel discussions, dinner talks, interactive workshops and several club events across the island.

Founded by electronic music industry’s most respected individuals including Ben Turner, BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, and Ibiza heavyweights, Danny Whittle, Mark Netto and Simeon Friend, all involved from top to bottom share a passion for electronic music and are passionate about the future and longevity of the culture. With esteemed guests such as Carl Cox, Erick Morillo and even the founders of Instagram, Twitter and YouTube, speaking on topics surrounding dance music’s past, present and future, it really is an eye opening experience to pick the brains of some of the great minds of the industry.

With several huge announcements on stage down through the years, multiple after parties taking place during the opening week of the season, arguably the busiest period of the year for the island, you can look forward to several high profile DJs headlining in the White Isle’s super clubs before a final party at UNESCO heritage site Dalt Villa, a 2500 year old castle overlooking the island, IMS is definitely not be missed.
