What made you want to be a DJ?

When I was 14 my older brother made me buy some horrible belt drive turntables with him. He went off to college and never touched them again but I started buying all the import vinyls that I was hearing on the radio. I was also DJing anywhere I could at this point, school discos, friends parties etc, I was a proper music snob from a young age and listening to underground house, garage, Hip Hop and Funk.

What are your top 5 tunes EVER? We’ll be secretly judging you, so they better be good.

Whats your favourite club and why?

Green Valley Brazil…played there 3 times under my Vanilla ACE alias and it was epic! 10,000 people partying under the Brazilian night sky.

Tell us your favourite thing about being a DJ?

Bringing everyone together with music and giving them a memorable night.

What advice have you been given in life that you found useful?

Always be humble and treat people how you want to be treated.

Lockdowns have been awful for dance music, if you had to make a bet – how do you see 2021 playing out?

2021 will see life getting back to normal. Its a massive power struggle behind the scenes and the public are the pawns!
