It’s hard to call which is the best weekend of an Ibiza season, as there’s such a consistent amount of huge events happening every day from the start of the season to the end. The Island is all in competition with each other that is certain, but this weekend there’s only two Sherriff’s in the town.

BBC Radio 1 has been putting on some of the most exciting events of the season for past years on the Island and will be venturing back to the Island this year with a selection of events. BBC Radio 1 seem to completely over-take anything that is happening during the days they visit the Island with their jam-packed lineups tweaked to the perfect venues.

Friday 4th August – BBC Radio 1 at Hi Ibiza 

An army of BBC regulars and new faces will be joining ranks at the newest super club on the Island, ‘Hi Ibiza’. The line up includes Annie Mac, B Traits, Eric Prydz, Kolsch, Maya Jane Coles, Pete Tong, Danny Howard, DJ Target, Mele, MistaJam, Monki, Tiga, Toddla T, Waze & Odyssey, & Understate. It’s also good to mention that BBC will be on air from 7pm-4am (UK time) for a total of 9 hours footage at your own disposable!

Saturday 5th August – BBC Radio 1 at Café Mambo

For their second event, BBC will be taking over Café Mambo, one of the most beautiful locations on the Island. Anyone who hasn’t witnessed a Mambo sunset needs to get down to this and experience something you’ve never experienced before, it will most definitely pluck on your heart strings…

Aside from the venue the line-up BBC is bringing with them is absolutely perfect for the setting including; Claptone, Danny Howard, Disciples PA, Duke Dumont + Gorgon City, Friend Within & Kideko, Jax Jones & RAYE, MistaJam, Icarus PA, Riton PA, TCTS DJ + Special Guests

Sunday 6th August – BBC Radio 1 at Café Mambo

Reeling out the weekend in style BBC stay put at the iconic setting of Café Mambo this time round with a selection of BBC Og’s and some very big special guests including Annie Mac, B Traits, Benji B, Black Coffee, Jessie Ware, Jorja Smith.

Tuesday 8th August – Elrow at Ibiza Rocks

This next event may not be apart of the weekend in a normal Island, but Ibiza isn’t really a normal place is it? We would consider this one a prime contender of this insane weekend. Elrow easily one of the biggest music brands in the world joins forces with Ibiza Rocks to host a poolside party. Elrow with the aspect of a poolside party? We can’t imagine the monstrous amount of inflatables and confetti that they’re going to dish out for this one.

The production alone is worth going to this party for but the lineup compliments it even greater… consisting of Paco Osuna, Bontan, Doorly, Toni Varga & Baum some of the top heavy hitter regulars on the isle. Are you brave enough to party at all of these shows? Only the strongest will last the 4 days…
