Following Kruger’s electrifying set, we took a moment to sit down and delve into the details. We asked him to spotlight a few standout tracks from his performance and share the stories behind them. Here’s what he had to say…
Kruger – The Great Exile – [Unreleased – no link]
This is the first track I completed this year. It’s the first time I produced an intro track with a long drawn out and cinematic intro so I had to open my set with this one. It’s going to be released later in 2024
Skoden – Gone But Not Forgotten
I’ve been listening to quite a bit of Skoden lately. All his stuff is really crisp and tight and this track really helps keep the momentum of the set going
Julien Earle – Daydream (UNFORG1VEN Remix)
This track is just pure brutal. I’ve been playing this in almost every set for a good 2-3 months. It never fails!
Phyrgian – VOODOO (Monolyth Remix)
This song reminds me of E1 where I first heard it and had to Shazam it on the spot! It’s driving but trippy at the same time. Sounds amazing in a warehouse rave!
Hardtrax, OBI – Schabernack
Tracks like these are right up my street. Everything that OBI and Hardtrax put out are pure gold. And this collab slapped! One of the kinda tracks that will always bring the dancefloor back to life!
Alex Under (AR) – Error! Archivo inexistent
Similar to the previous track, this one manages to bring a lot of energy even though its very stripped back. A lot is happening with very few elements!
Kruger – Jaded
This one was released earlier this year on DSR Digital . I played it at my set at Tomorrowland and it always reminds me of The Rave Cave!
The Age Of Love (Lethyx Nekuia Remix)
This song really needs no introduction, or any explanation of why I chose it. Sure it’s very different from the original, but it’s a perfect remix to end a hard / industrial techno set in Ibiza with.
