It was Helen Keller that once said,”When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.” Well when you apply that thought to Space closing and Hï Ibiza opening it makes a lot of sense.

Of course we all had fond memories of Space but it’s time to make new memories in Hï Ibiza. The new clubbing superpower, which is opening on the site of space, last week announced their opening party to be the 28th of May.

Then a couple of days later they announced their first resident of the 2017 season. South African house legend, Black Coffee, was the first to be announced but we all knew that wasn’t going to be the only announcement.

It has been revealed that Martin Garrix will now hold an 11 week residency in the club as well. Beginning on the first Monday in July, Garrix and his MULTIPLY night will run until the 11th of September.

But wait! There’s more! If you can’t get enough of DJ Mag’s number one DJ you can also catch him at his other residency in the Ushuaïa Beach Hotel where he will hold a day-time residency starting on the 6th of July and finishing up on the 14th of September!

The 21 year old EDM superstar is excited for his residency saying that “Ibiza is one of my favourite places in the world and I couldn’t be happier to perform here twice every week.” The feeling is mutual Martin! Ibiza is one of the greatest places on Earth!
