Originating from the North Western part of England, Melé has been on the mind’s of many across the globe, and for good reason! Starting DJing at the tender age of 13, he has evolved into one of the most in-demand artists in this day and age. With his high energy, driving styled productions and DJ sets, he’s been grafting for almost over a decade and since then has grown to land himself as the next face of Defected’s iconic in the house series. In saying that to be apart of one of the biggest dance music brands in the world would be a dream for any artist.

Describing recording both mixes as “Like putting together a really hard jigsaw puzzle”, Melé has truly honed all of his skills, experiences, and knowledge together for these two mixes.

The first mix consists of some stand-out tracks from the likes of Joe Corti, David Mayer, Jimpster, Joeski and a complete curve-ball with a Stone Roses anthem towards the end.

Following into the second mix, Melé doesn’t hold back with the bangers and kicks it straight into it with an Armand Van Helden hymn, followed by some more solid tracks including Primal Scream, Romanthony, Seven Davis JR and Apollo 440. 

With them two mixes, it shows the complete style and characteristics this aspiring artist has going for him! He’s not afraid to throw a few curve-balls in there with some extremely solid and versatile mixing. The mix series is set to release on the 31st of this month, so keep your eyes peeled on both Defected & Melé’s channels!

Aside from his latest mix, Melé will also be making his way to our lovely Island and joining Defected in Ibiza to play at Eden on the 16 & 23 of September! It’s also good to mention he will be live-streaming in Mambos for the pre-party’s! Times are good for both Melé & Defected, that’s for sure.
