IBIZA CLUB NEWS

Here at Ibiza Club News, we’re very much of the opinion that clothes are a very important part of life. On this magical island, people tend to wear what they feel most comfortable in, no matter how big or small the item of clothing may be, and while we agree that you should be able to wear whatever you like, it’s not always appropriate for a man to wear a g-string that looks like it was modeled on dental floss and, in our case, it’s definitely a look that is extremely hard to unsee and one that people won’t thank us for.

So, when we want to go out in public, we tend to dress a little more appropriately to our environment and we’re constantly on the lookout for clothes that are both practical and look good and we recently came across a brand called Four Leaf fashion that seemed to tick our boxes.

First thing we’ve got to tell you, Four Leaf is currently only offering men’s lines, so for all of you lovely ladies out there, while Four Leaf don’t have anything for you at the moment, we’re more than happy for you to occasionally borrow our garments, but we want them back washed, dried and ironed in the exact condition you got them in, OK. We’ve lost way too many hoodies over the years and we’re not getting burned again.

Four Leaf offer a lovely range of twinsets, shorts and t-shirts combos, so we’d definitely say it’s summer attire or suitable for someone living in a warmer climate. Which is kind of ironic, given that all of the twinsets are named after Irish towns and from our vast knowledge of the Irish climate, we can safely say that it’s probably never warm enough to wear them in any of the aforementioned towns, although, honestly, with threads this nice, you’re not going to let the weather or potential risk of hypothermia stop you looking on point. You also have the option of buying and wearing the t-shirt and shorts independently of each other so a potential jeans/t-shirt or shorts/wooly jumper combo is definitely on the cards.

We got the Slane twinset, which has now completely sold out, and we have to say we were very impressed by the look, quality and design of the garments. First of all, the material used to make these clothes is of a really high quality. You won’t need to worry about putting your finger through the collar, or the t-shirt being a different size or shape after the first time you put it through the wash like you would with something you bought in Primark, or out of the back of a dodgy van. These things are well made and built to last so you’ll get plenty of wear out of them. The snakeskin print on this twinset was also really nice, there were plenty of options, various different prints and colours, but we went with the Slane because it made us feel slightly dangerous, a bit like announcing you’ve got guestlist to elrow in the queue for Amnesia, only a lot more trendy. The fit was also perfect, we’re sporting some serious dad bods but the large made us look semi-athletic, which was worth the money alone.

One of the things we like about Four Leaf is that all of the lines are limited. They make a certain amount of each range and once they’re gone, they’re gone. This adds real value to each and every item of clothing available from Four Leaf because you know they’re all fairly unique and you’re not all that likely to show up at a party to find someone else wearing the exact same outfit as you. Although, from the evidence we’ve seen this summer, we’re not sure if wearing the exact same outfit as your mate really bothers the modern man, we’ve actually seen gangs of six or seven lads walking around practically identically dressed and none of them seemed to be bothered in the slightest. You’re chances of seeing someone else wearing a twinset the same as you do however increase if you decide to bring one to Ibiza, with DJs like Skream, Jamie Roy, Darius Syrossian and Griff regularly seen performing in Four Leaf Gear.

All of Four Leaf’s lines are currently sold out, a testament to their quality and popularity, but we’ve heard a rumour that there’s going to be another drop coming in the near future, actually we’ve heard it’s going to land on 12 December and it’s going to include some female lines, so we’d advise you to keep your eye on their website and socials if you like what you see. If there is something that you like, you’re best bet is to just go straight ahead and buy it because there is no guarantee it’ll still be there if you hesitate.

So, how much is one of these bad boys gonna set you back? You can have your very own twinset for £90, just about €105. If you’re looking for something cheap, get yourself off to Primark. Four Leaf is good quality clothing and to get good quality you need to pay for it. All in all, we think Four Leaf is great value for what you get and we’ll definitely be picking up some more bits the next time they drop.

Overall verdict, if you’ve got all of your limbs and head and neck in the right place, Four Leaf is going to be a good fit for you. The price is in line with the quality of the clothing and most importantly, it all looks great. It’s a big thumbs up from us.
