How To Be An Ibiza Worker: Part 1

by | Nov 11, 2018 | Evergreen | 0 comments

One of the things we constantly get asked about here at Ibiza Club News is taking the leap and moving out to Ibiza to become a worker for a season. It seems like every day we open our inboxes to be greeted by messages asking questions about finding jobs, accommodation, living expenses and every other facet of life on the island imaginable. So, to save you from asking these questions, and to save our sanity by not have to repeatedly answer them, we’ve decided to put together a series of guides that will give you all of the information you need to know about moving to the white isle.

Over the coming months, we’ll be bringing you not only guides but also exclusive interviews with DJs, ticket sellers, servers, dancers, bar staff, business owners and everyone else who has any piece of valuable information that could help you if you choose to make the move. So be sure to keep your eye on Ibiza Club News for our weekly How To Be A Worker posts.

This week, we’re going to start at the very beginning. If you’re sitting at home wondering whether or not a summer in Ibiza is right for you, ask yourself these questions; Do I like beautiful Mediterranean islands with glorious weather? Do I like to party? Am I willing to work hard to get these things? If you answered yes to these questions, and you don’t have any major commitment that will make moving away for up to six months a problem, then Ibiza probably is right for you.

Every great move begins with a decision, so, without wanting to sound too obvious, the very first step of your move to Ibiza is you saying “yes” and making up your mind. It’s a big decision, a move to Ibiza, while incredibly fun is not going to be easy, there’ll be times when you’ll want to leave, you’ll miss home, you’ll miss your family, you’ll miss all of your comforts, you’ll want to kill your boss, you’ll want to kill your housemates even more, you’ll be hungry, you’ll want more money, you’ll want more space, but we can guarantee you that you will not regret it and the memories, friends and experiences you will gain over the course of a season will last a lifetime.

For many people, a move to Ibiza completely changes their lives. People end up coming back every single year and we can’t tell you how many people we know who now work in their dream jobs through the connections they made in Ibiza. The one thing they all have in common is they went out there with the right attitude, worked their asses off while partying hard and grabbed the opportunities that came their way with both hands. If this sounds like you, make the decision to come to Ibiza today!

We’re going to leave it here for now but be sure to check back every week for more tips about moving to Ibiza. Next week, we’ll be looking at exactly what you need to make your dreams come true on the White Isle.
